The Forest Lakes Thornlie Family Centre (The Centre) is a not-for-profit, community managed organisation committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment to grow and nurture a sense of community. The Centre is providing enhancing, empowering and engaging community programs  for the people living in the City of Gosnells and surrounding areas.

The Centre is located on land that was kindly donated by Don Russel Holdings, and was officially opened on 28 November 1992 with funding by the Western Australia Government in cooperation with the City of Gosnells and has been assisting and engaging with the community since then.

The Centre supports a culture of social inclusion through engaging with individuals of all ages and enhancing individual strengths and skills. The Centre engages with community through surveys, feedback forms, attending community events and always welcoming the community in for a coffee and a chat. We review our programs using the information the community provides, census information and working with the City of Gosnells.
